Hello!

Hello! My name is Shelley and this is my humble craft blog. I’m a 30 year old Canon-wielding craft-lover, and spend my time split between London (work) and Essex (home).

A few years ago my new year’s resolution was to try my hand at more arts and crafts, and this blog showcases the results. Taking inspiration from Pinterest, I decided to document my attempts at nailing simple DIY projects, with the hope of learning new skills and having fun along the way!

Since then I’ve enjoyed adapting and creating my own DIYs, as well as attending craft workshops, events and markets to meet like-minded craft-bods. I love the craft community – they’re the friendliest, most supportive network online, and they’re supremely creative and inspiring too.

There is no one craft that I like – I like to try them all, at least once, and enjoy quite a mixture! On this blog you’ll find everything from origami Easter bunnies, to breeze-block Halloween tombstones.

In 2016 I was Highly Commended in the Arts & Culture category of the UK Blog Awards!
